    • Hi Thom,

The support group for the Occupy Walk USA Team is on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/occupywalk/
We are also on twitter @occupywalkusa and you can search the hash tag #occupywalk.

We debated Facebook because of their lack of solidarity with Occupy but in the end we all decided that the Facebook platform is still ideal for community collaboration and there is no equivalent platform that wouldn’t take years to build up.

Facebook maximizes our reach to the entire United States so we have decided to “use Facebook” while it uses us.

      • I have to bow to your accumulated knowledge of and decision upon the Facebook phenomena, but my own initial experience of Facebook was distasteful. My current motivation to acquire information of and insight into the walk that I am personally committing to (Occupy Walk) seems to require my return to Facebook as a member. Well, Facebook won’t kill us. It is the censure of the internet that can kill us. Let them use my information as they will: I am not buying that which they are selling.

Again, thank you Chris and Bill and DJ and Adam and Jason and… I have trouble remembering names… Susan… , but you are my heroes… enough so that I mean to emulate some of your behaviors. Never doubt that you are real heroes.
