The Navajo People honor the walkers with an Eagle feather

The Navajo People honor the walkers with an Eagle feather

This is a great honor to the walkers since only the Navajo are allowed to have Eagle feathers, they are a rare and precious gift.

Jason stated, “As I walk across the Navajo high desert, I sense the beginnings of a united people, all cultures rising up together. We walk through stereotypes, we walk through predjudice, we walk through boundries that have long divided us. In the end, we are all one people, and we must reclaim what is rightfully ours.

Occupy walk USA stands in solidarity with the Navajo and Hopis concerning there issue about there water rights…

Uranium in the water supply. Mining has polluted these lands in pursuit of profit at the expense of human needs.  And there is constant clamoring from Sens Kyle and McCain to let the mines leech into the Grand Canyon! Water is an issue everywhere in this state (hence the ” for heaven sake…don’t have a campfire” edicts)
What water we do have does not need contamination!
